Joan Williamson is the CEO and Principal for Tillmark Group, a florida developer, dedicated to creating safe,  and quality housing solutions for underserved communities throughout Florida and the United States. With a strong background in construction, real estate and community development, Joan brings a wealth of experience in managing housing projects that not only meet building standards—but also serve a greater purpose.

As the President of the company, Joan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring that each project is executed efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with Tillmark’s goals. Her leadership spans across project planning, operational management, compliance oversight, and partnership development. With a hands-on approach, she collaborates closely with project managers, site coordinators, and other development partners to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of housing initiatives.

She holds a Masters degree in Construction Management from Florida International University in 2016 and later receiving her general construction license in 2021. In addition to that she received her real estate license in 2016, where she closed over $3 million in real estate sales. As a general contractor she has worked on several commercial and residential renovations and new construction totaling $200 millions since 2010.  

 She is instrumental in identifying funding opportunities, building scalable operational systems, and guiding organizational growth into new communities in need. Her work is rooted in both construction expertise and a deep passion for social equity, making her a powerful advocate for accessible housing solutions.
